Program Spotlight: Super Sibs

“My son has loved the Super Sibs program. Ms. Jenny is truly wonderful and has made it so fun to participate that even my usually reluctant participant joins in! He loves that after years of tagging along for his sister, he has his own GiGi’s program. We are so grateful to GiGi’s for remembering that siblings need support, too. My son doesn’t know yet how valuable these connections will be for him, but we do, and we truly appreciate what GiGi’s has come to mean to our entire family.”

Super Sibs is a special time for siblings of individuals with Down syndrome to talk about the good and the sometimes not-so-good moments of having a sibling with Down syndrome. Participants share, play games, and enjoy connecting with other siblings. Our amazing volunteer Program Leader is Ms. Jenny, LMFT of Jenny Matern Counseling. We are so grateful to have her at GiGi’s!
