Hannah’s EPIC Job!

Our EPIC Adult Program meets weekly to provide opportunities for socialization and community involvement, while creating a fun and memorable experience for its participants. Participants work on vocational, communication, and social skills to boost confidence and encourage independence.

Hannah participated in our first EPIC program over the summer.  Her parents commented, “We are thrilled about Gigi’s offering the EPIC Adult program! Our daughter, Hannah, was fortunate enough to participate in the pilot, and it was our hope that she would simply enjoy the time and experience as part of her transition into adulthood. Once we met the leader and volunteers, we knew she was in great and talented hands. Little did we know that what we thought would simply be a fun summer activity would lead to Hannah quickly developing a new-found interest in employment and some great skills to go with it! We were thrilled to see her look forward to attending each session and building confidence, which was topped off by the chance to see her and her class prepare and serve at Gigi’s annual volunteer dinner! We are looking forward to Hannah continuing with the program, and our family is beyond grateful to Gigi’s for bringing this wonderful opportunity to the adults in our community.”

We could not be prouder of Hannah!! She is officially our very first EPIC Adult Program participant to begin her new JOB at Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe!! We are so grateful for this partnership and excited to see Hannah achieve her Best Of ALL!!!
