Katie\u00a0– GiGi Kitchen Program Leader<\/b><\/p>\n

Hello! My name is Katie Vitalbo and I lead the summer virtual GiGi Kitchen program. I am a born and raised Wisconsin girl. My husband, Dave, and I have been married for 21 years and have three beautiful daughters. We also have a dog named Max, a cat named Jambalaya, and a guinea pig named Obi. I have a ton of hobbies that I never have enough time for!! I like to sew, bake, craft, swim, hike, and read. I like to joke that I am still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. My first job out of college was as a computer programmer for M&I Data Services. I found out quickly that I was not meant to sit in front of a computer 8 hours a day, so I went back to school and became a certified pastry chef. I taught non-credit pastry and cooking classes at WCTC and Wilton cake decorating classes. Currently, I work with my church as the kitchen coordinator and technology support. I absolutely love to teach. My favorite part of teaching is when a student is having fun and enjoying the class. I am so blessed that my friend, Becky, asked me to join GiGi’s Playhouse because this has been an incredible experience. All of the kids that I have encountered are determined, smart, funny, and have quite the personalities. I’m looking forward to many more classes with my awesome students. Thank you for introducing me to your kitchens!<\/p>\n

This fall I will co-lead with Becky keeping GiGi Kitchen as a weekly program.<\/p>\n
