Leaps and Bounds (ages 3-5) in-person

We are offering a new collaboration with Marquette University’s Occupational Therapy (OT) students under the direction of their licensed OT supervisor. This program is offered in-person only and the lesson guides can be sent to those that sign up with interest below to have at-home programs. * In order to keep everyone safe and physically distanced we are limiting our in-person participants to 10 for this program. If you would like to attend in person RSVP using the in-person attendance button below, we are asking that only the individual with Down syndrome and 1 caregiver attend, this allows us to allow more friends to attend. If the in-person program has reached its max capacity, please email us at programsmilwaukee@gigisplayhouse.org to have the lessons and materials list sent to you!
Recommended ages: 3-5 years
Program Description: Leaps & Bounds is a play-based program for 3-5-year-olds that focuses on the development of large and small muscle groups, social skills, and communication. Children will participate in fun and engaging activities that require movement and interaction with their environment through guided academic themes. Family members are key participants in this program and will encourage their child to reach his or her Best of All throughout each session.
