Dear Friends of GiGi’s,

Fall is here, school is back in session and the Packers are 2-0!

Here are a few updates from your Playhouse:

Back-to-school-ice-cream-party
We recently hosted a social gathering for our school aged friends. Kids participated in a program at the Playhouse where they “earned” their way to building an ice-cream-sundae. We had a great turnout and had a lot of fun. Thanks for all who came out to wish our students a great year!

Mom’s Night-In!

Wednesday, October 7 from 6-8 pm at the Playhouse, all Moms of kiddos rockin’ an extra chromosome are invited to join us for some (child-free) social time. It’s our first gathering so we’ll have some snacks and brainstorm what we would like to do with our time together.

Volunteer Orientation

Upcoming volunteer orientation sessions:

Thursday, September 24 at 7:00 pm

Thursday, October 22 at 7:00 pm

We are seeking volunteers to regularly attend our 2016 Gala planning committee meetings. Gala volunteers will receive a free Gala ticket. Please email us if you are interested: milwaukee@gigisplayhouse.com
Programming
The October programming calendar has been published in the Playhouse as well as online calendar here.
This month’s *Playhouse Pals* program (Sunday, September 27 at 2 pm) is canceled so that all our families can attend the DSAW walk at the Milwaukee County Zoo. The weather will be gorgeous and the cause is beautiful. Enjoy!

*Friday Friends* is our young adult group that meets monthly at the Playhouse on the last Friday (September 25). We will be watching the movie “Pitch Perfect 2” with snacks and social time.

We are fortunate to have three, graduate level PT students from Marquette University leading our Fall *Busy Bodies* program. This FREE program works with young children on general physical therapy skills. Every other Friday from 11:30-12:30 (this Friday, 9/25!) at the Playhouse. No RSVP required, just join us for fun with these gifted ladies!

October is Down syndrome awareness month!
