Ellie has been working hard to improve her speech and language skills through the Amina Grace Speech and Language Program.\u00a0 She has participated in every 10-week session since the program began this past spring.\u00a0 Ellie is working on answering questions, using correct sentence structure, and speech clarity.\u00a0 Since participating in program, Ellie\u2019s mom tells us \u201cPeople can understand her better, her words have become much more clear.\u00a0 It has been easier for her to respond to questions.\u00a0 I no longer have to interpret for Ellie.\u201d \u00a0\u00a0Ellie works hard, but also loves being silly and playing games.\u00a0 She really likes telling stories about her week.\u00a0 \u201cEllie enjoys coming to speech. Katie knows what works best for Ellie.\u00a0 Sometimes it\u2019s structured and other days not so structured.\u00a0 Katie does what it takes to get Ellie to progress. She has to do work; yet has fun.\u201d\u00a0 Ellie\u2019s mother initially signed her up to participate in the Amina Grace Speech and Language program because it was a great opportunity to give her as much speech as possible.\u00a0 She did not feel that Ellie was receiving the amount of speech help that she needed. The biggest bonus was that the program is free.\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s an awesome program and I hope it will continue.\u201d\u00a0 Ellie\u2019s mother stated.\u00a0 Ellie has shown fantastic growth while participating in the speech program and we know she will continue to make great gains!<\/p>\n
