Find details on each of our programs and links to sign up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/gigisplayhouse.org\/madison\/sfcalendar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Program Calendar<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more information on&nbsp;<strong>One-on-One Literacy, Math and Speech<\/strong>&nbsp;click&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gigisplayhouse.org\/madison\/one-on-one-programing-applications-for-summer-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ALL Group Programs and Tutoring start the week of&nbsp;<strong>September 15<\/strong> and end the week of <strong>December 1.<\/strong>&nbsp;Speech Therapy will run from September 23 &#8211; December 2. As always, all of our Programs will&nbsp;<strong>run the same time and day each week<\/strong>. Check out our weekly Group Program offerings organized by age-group and our special events below!&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-fl-topbar-bg-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b0e4cb38a2556fb3ff023d2167cf2409 wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Programs for ALL&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Destination Discovery: Dynamic Duals<\/strong> this program supports the development of fine motor skills, gross motor skills, social skills and language through purposeful play and peer to peer interaction in a casual, fun and sensory friendly setting. This program also brings families together to share experiences and build relationships.\u00a0Each class will have a theme, with 2-3 activity options to participate in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All Ages + siblings are welcome to attend<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There will be a limit of 10 participants to ensure a sensory friendly environment\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This program is perfect for participants that may need a more quiet environment while still having the opportunity to learn and grow alongside their peers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Parents and caregivers can choose to interact in our Family room or in the back room with other families to foster connection and share experiences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dates:&nbsp;<strong>September 27th, October 18th, November 22nd. <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Themes: <strong>Falling For Fun, Boo Bash and Friendsgiving<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-fl-topbar-bg-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-aa208f2cb3e7a2c5c685ef8c4b25a580 wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Programs for Birth \u2013 4 years old<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Language, Music, n\u2019 Our Peeps (LMNOP)<\/strong>:  is an interactive and engaging program designed to guide parents\/caregivers and young children through learning basic sign language and other forms of communication while using music, sensory and social-based activities.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>recommended for ages birth \u2013 4 years old<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>this program runs weekly,&nbsp;<strong>Fridays&nbsp;<\/strong>from<strong>&nbsp;9:00-11:00am<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>first class is September 16<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>last class is December 2<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NO class on November 7 or November 28<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-fl-topbar-bg-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0dc617c44d64d904ccbad5e3146dc6f1 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Programs for School-Agers: ages 5-12 years old<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>GiGiFIT Kids + GiGi&#8217;s Kitchen Kids<\/strong>: this 2-in-1 Program&nbsp;combines elements from our GiGiFIT and GiGi&#8217;s Kitchen programs. GiGiFIT focuses on increasing strength, endurance, balance, coordination and more &#8211; in a fun and casual setting with friends. GiGi&#8217;s Kitchen allows participants exposure to basic cooking and kitchen safety skills by working through a weekly recipe and food-themed activity.SOYA introduces basic sport skills, like running, kicking and throwing\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>recommended for ages 5 \u2013 12 years old<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>this program runs weekly,&nbsp;<strong>Saturdays<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<strong>10:00-11:30am<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>first class is September 20 <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>last class is December 6&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NO class on November 4 or November 25<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-fl-topbar-bg-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-43fe5e3c579d0bb4a28c7245460fdb98 wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Programs for Teens: ages 13-17 years old&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>TeenTastic + GiGi&#8217;s Kitchen Teen<\/strong> <strong>+ Art Explosion<\/strong>: this 3-in-1 Program&nbsp;is a fun purposeful &amp; social gathering for Teens with Down syndrome and their peers. This program supports the development of social skills and language through peer to peer interaction in a casual and fun setting. Each class will follow a similar structure of activities: Group Welcome\/Circle, Icebreaker Group Question, Activity #1 (typically a social\/group activity), Activity #2 (craft or fine motor), Activity #3 (cooking\/kitchen activity) and a Closing\/Group Circle.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>recommended for ages 13-18 years old &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>this program runs weekly,&nbsp;<strong>Tuesdays&nbsp;<\/strong>from&nbsp;<strong>5:30-7:00pm<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>first class is September 16 <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>last class is December 2<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NO class on November 4 or November 25<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-fl-topbar-bg-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d608370419eca6b476fd925c6cd54789 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Programs for Adults: ages 18+<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Fantastic Friends<\/strong>&nbsp;+&nbsp;<strong>GiGi\u2019s Kitchen Adult<\/strong>: a fun purposeful &amp; social gathering for adults with Down syndrome, their peers and the community. This program supports the development of social skills and language through peer to peer interaction in a casual and fun setting. Participants will have the option of which activity or activities they participate in each week. Activities include: social skill building, arts &amp; crafts, board games, sport\/fitness games, and cooking.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>recommended for adults ages 18+<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>this program runs weekly,&nbsp;<strong>Thursdays&nbsp;<\/strong>from&nbsp;<strong>5:30-7:00pm<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>first class = September 18<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>last class = December 4<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NO class on November 6 or November 27<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>GiGi\u2019s Achievers<\/strong>: empowers adults with Down syndrome with purposeful activities to ensure continued learning and fulfillment of life. This program teaches and promotes communication, self-awareness, independence, health and wellness through hands-on collaborative activities.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>recommended for adults ages 18+<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>this program runs weekly on&nbsp;<strong>Wednesday<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>mornings&nbsp;<\/strong>from&nbsp;<strong>9:00-10:00am<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>first class = September 17<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>last class = December 3<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NO class on November 4 or November 25<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>GiGiFIT Adult:<\/strong> focuses on building social skills with friends by participating in team-based activities, games and other social activities.
