One of the favorite activities was the group game called &#8220;Ten.&#8221;<br \/>\nAs a program leader, I was not sure if I was seeing any measurable gains in these addressed math skills. However, my own son soon demonstrated to me that our efforts were making a difference. He was now reading numerals aloud while in the car, when weighing himself, and when he say a digital clock. He was recording his weight on a calendar on his own each morning.
