Kelly Antonson has been promoted to GiGi’s Playhouse Madison’s first Executive Director.

GiGi’s Playhouse Madison is excited to share the promotion of Kelly Antonson to the first Executive Director of the Madison Playhouse.  

Kelly started with the Madison Playhouse as a volunteer in early 2018 with various roles. She began her career with GiGi’s Playhouse as the Site Manager in March 2020, was promoted to Site Director in December 2021 and was promoted to Executive Director in June 2024.  

Advocating and celebrating our Down syndrome community is my passion and truly brings me joy!

Kelly’s passion and leadership have driven the growth of our Playhouse and the presence in our community.  She shared “I’m so proud of the work our team has been doing and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to continue playing a part in our growth. Advocating and celebrating our Down syndrome community is my passion and truly brings me joy! I am so excited for what the future holds for our Playhouse community!”

The Madison Playhouse is continuing a huge growth trajectory, and the Board of Directors believe Kelly is the right person to lead our team.  

Board President, Kimberly Arndt, shared “Kelly is an amazing asset to GiGi’s Playhouse Madison!  She has gone above and beyond in her role as Site Director and we are thrilled that she wants to step into the Executive Director role.  We would not be where we are today without her drive, passion, and leadership!”
