GiGi's Playhouse Madison • 4104 Monona Drive, Madison, WI 53716
In-Person: Dynamic Duals
September 25 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Country Creek Learning Center, 6187 Portage Rd, DeForest
This Dynamic Duals class will be an in-person session for both Parents/Caregivers and their Playhouse Participant!
Dynamic Duals, a GiGi’s Playhouse Madison piloted program, is a monthly program designed specifically for families & individuals with a dual diagnosis of DS-ASD and/or sensory or behavioral challenges. Parents meet in one area to connect, have fun, share successes, resources, and strategies.
Children engage in fun educational activities that respect the individual needs of each child. Tools specifically designed to improve communication, easing transitions, support motor skills, and explore the sensory world are utilized based on each child’s unique characteristics & preferences in a separate area.
Siblings can join their brother or sister in activities that match their interests or choose other options. Our focus is creating relationships, working on individual goals, and ensuring participants feel comfortable & safe. A light snack will be provided.
This month we will be meeting offsite at Country Creek Learning Center. This licensed childcare is located out in the country and has a spacious fenced area plus additional area that has trails. The children will be outdoors with volunteers.
Please let us know you are coming at least ten (10) days before, so we can ensure there are enough volunteers.
