WOW! This is a positive sharing. Listen to our self advocates. Imagine discovering a place where you are truly comfortable being yourself. Most of us have this in our lives. We have the capacity, and opportunity, everyday to better environments for those we advocate for. This is GiGi’s Playhouse! Big Love, Richard Reilly – The Grandparent Connection.

  28. Pete Gunderson on March 9, 2021 at 11:10 pm

Genuine. The most accurate one word persona I can give of Zane.
Combined with a gentle nature , yet, persistent drive for … caring about what’s right, is right. We experience his genuine passion for Family and all the bits and pieces it takes to make a family complete.
We are proud of Zane, as well, on our Team of Caregivers at Gunderson. Thanks for continueing to lend Zane to our cause, also.
Noah has a wonderful grandpa Zane, and Gigi’s Leadership and supporters have a great model to look towards. .

  35. Melissa Eriksen on August 4, 2021 at 9:14 pm

Our son participated in this program for the first time this summer and it was AMAZING! The therapist(s) were wonderful. They were thoughtful, caring and really observant. The recommendations they made have been helping him already. While that’s exciting, the great part (especially for him) is they made it fun. Every time he had speech they did fun things like baking, playing games and science experiments. Highly recommend this program!

  36. Judy Heil on October 7, 2021 at 5:56 pm

Finn has a wonderful grandmother (and family) who went the “extra-mile” to attend the literacy tutor training and use the materials in the home with Finn. This was before virtual options. It is so great to hear that Finn is doing so well!

  41. Patty Backus on January 8, 2022 at 2:40 pm

As grandparents to sweet Norah, we well know the emotional ups and downs that both Mom and Dad have endured through her pregnancy, early arrival into this world and then open heart surgery. As Allie alluded to, it has been a tremendous ride through many twists and turns, but it the end we have this incredible child in our lives that we are so very blessed to be able to hug and hold. She is definitely her own individual, even at this early age, and we are so excited to see how her personality blossoms as she gets older. We can tell it will, it is just a matter of how. She will surely benefit from all that is offered by GiGi’s Playhouse Madison and hopefully will equally give back to the GiGi’s Playhouse community as she grows to become an adult.

  42. Angie Posch on January 10, 2022 at 5:54 pm

As a quilter myself, I find this story and the photos just really heartrending And amazing at the same time. This is really a wake-up for people. Every single person is created with purpose and has gifts to share with the rest of us. 51. Fran Dotta on August 27, 2022 at 10:17 am

Sarah will be wonderful to work with. In addition to all her qualifications she has an enormous amount of compassion, humor, and sensitivity to people. Sarah thinks things through and is also very artistic, an accomplished cook, and a very dedicated parent . Sarah looks for the good and continues to seek out what will both enhance and challenge her children as they grow . I think you’ll love working along with her!

    • Kelly Antonson on August 29, 2022 at 11:53 am

      We agree 100% Fran!

  52. Fran Dotta on September 15, 2022 at 4:42 pm

Addi is so blessed to have the parents she has and in spite of the mountainous challenges, they all ARE coping really well! Humor helps, too, and Addi does provide a lot to be happy about, too.
