A Safe Place for the Entire Family

GiGi’s Playhouse Madison is a welcoming and safe place for the entire family! We hear time and time again how families come here and ‘can breathe’ and ‘put their shoulders down’. This is a place filled with people sharing similar experiences and always has ‘good energy’.

We are proud to have cultivated a home away from home for so many people. In fact, because we have so many families that enjoy talking with each other in our family room area of the Playhouse, we extended the seating options and increased the space by four feet!

There are now conversation pods that allow us to comfortably seat more people and help inspire connection and conversation. We see families kick back and relax, have a cup of coffee, read a book and just take some quiet time for themselves in this area. It truly is the heart of our Playhouse.

Adult women sitting together in GiGi's Playhouse

This wonderful group of women bring their participants to the adult program, Fantastic Friends. Their friendship and bond have grown over their time spent here. It’s increased so much so, that when our Director asked one of the ladies where her daughter was, she said “Oh, she couldn’t come tonight but I needed MY GiGi’s time!!” She made time to come to the Playhouse to fill her heart and her needs.

We absolutely love that our beautiful Playhouse is the place so many WANT to be and NEED to be.

The commitment we make to the Down syndrome community is that we will support the entire family.

We deliver on this promise by offering:

  • a breadth of year-round, FREE, purposeful programming for all ages
  • family speaker events with topics requested by our families
  • hosting celebration parties for families and friends
  • hosting engagement and community events to
