Summer has been very eventful at GiGi’s Playhouse Indy, but that has not stopped us from preparing for our 3.21 Run!\u00a0 Our Fun Run raises enough funds to provide free services and programs to families in our community throughout the calendar year.\u00a0 We are so thankful to have awesome support from our community, and to be able to support them back.\u00a0 One participant in particular we have loved supporting and seeing grow is Alden Newby.<\/p>\n

Alden attends Noblesville High School and is an active member in unified track as well as the preforming arts. He thrives when it comes to being with peers, as well as singing, dancing, and acting.\u00a0 Alden has been a consistent attendee to our People Like Us theater program and Ballroom Dancing.\u00a0 We have seen Alden improve his social interaction skills though bettered speech, eye contact, and eagerness to interact over the last few months.\u00a0 These skills have most definitely been supplemented in Alden’s extracurricular school activities, and we are happy to play a role in his development and success.<\/p>\n

Alden is so involved at GiGi’s that he won the costume contest back in March for World Down Syndrome Day!\u00a0 As a prize he is going to be an Honoree at our 3.21 Race on September 8!\u00a0 Have YOU made your team yet?\u00a0 Visit here to start now!<\/p>\n
