At GiGi\u2019s Playhouse, Best of All<\/em> moments are the little victories that show big growth\u2014and for math tutor Karen and participant Robbie, those moments have been adding up since 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Karen began tutoring Robbie with a simple, practical goal: make math meaningful. They focused on currency\u2014counting bills and coins, understanding value, and building confidence with real-world transactions. One of their favorite ways to practice? Lunch dates. Together, Karen and Robbie figure out the tip, calculate tax, and determine how much change they should receive. These outings are full of laughter, teamwork, and real-life problem solving. Robbie asks questions, double-checks his work, and celebrates when the numbers make sense. Those are Best of All<\/em> moments\u2014when learning clicks and confidence shines.
