They have been attending such as <a href=\"https:\/\/gigisplayhouse.org\/hoffmanestates\/sfcalendar\">LMNOP<\/a> every Tuesday at 10am Language Music N&#8217; Our Peeps (LMNOP).<\/p>\n<p>LMNOP supports the therapeutic-based development of young children with Down syndrome with goals of achieving the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Introduce and practice the use of basic signs\/gestures\/pictures to support language development.<\/li>\n<li>Increase language development, with focus on vocabulary development, following basic directions and social interaction with peers using music, stories and play.<\/li>\n<li>Introduce transitions and circle time; key skills needed to prepare children for pre-school and beyond.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each week Will&#8217;s family continues to build relationships with other families in the playhouse during programs. Relationships that will last a lifetime.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Gigi\u2019s has welcomed Will with open arms. The LMNOP program is helping us learn signs from an early age. Most important, we have loved meeting with families, staff and all our new friends.&#8221; &#8211; Laurie, Will&#8217;s Mom<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We make a lifetime commitment to our families at GiGi&#8217;s Playhouse.
