Last week, t<\/span>he\u00a0<\/span>GiGi\u2019s Playhouse\u00a0<\/span>National Leadership Conference\u00a0<\/span>took place at the Hyatt in Schaumburg. The conference <\/span>gathers staff and volunteers from the entire network of GiGi\u2019s Playhouse. There were over 300 attendees from 60 cities and Mexico!<\/span>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Because the Hoffman Playhouse houses the National Office, our interns in the Career Development programs have so many amazing opportunities to be ambassadors for GiGi’s Playhouse. <\/span>S<\/span>ome of our career development interns were able to attend and play key roles at the National Leadership Conference.\u202f<\/span><\/p>\n

Their roles included greeting attendees, mingling with guests, networking with other\u202f<\/span>GiGi\u2019s<\/span>\u202f<\/span>participants<\/span> from across the network, demonstrating programming, announcing presenters, and much more!\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Farzin<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Sharyari<\/span> even had the opportunity to introduce Chief Belief Officer Nancy Gianni before she gave her State of Business address. He definitely made us proud!<\/span><\/p>\n

Giving opportunities to our adult interns to attend events like this while playing a important roles helps promote self-confidence, professionalism, and giving their best of all! Gaining these skills helps prepare our adults for real-world experiences and professional relationships.
