Getting to Know Farzin

Our GiGi’s Ambassador Program continues to work on creating their own blog for readers to get to know our participants a little more. Farzin has been a part of GiGi’s for over 10 years. He said he has gained a lot from our tutoring program and working with our very own volunteer Tom. Megan, who is our Career Program Manager, says that Farzin was chosen to be a part of Ambassador Program because of his willingness to work and give his all!

The following was written by Farzin:

My name is Farzin Sharyari. I am 36 years old. At GiGi’s Playhouse, I have participated in tutoring, cooking class, Ambassadors program, and GiGiFIT. My favorite program at GiGi’s is all of the special events.  I like to spend time with friends, going to fun events, and traveling around the world. A fun fact about me is that I like to write songs.

I am a part of the first group of GiGi Ambassadors. In this program, I am looking forward to learning about marketing strategies, social media, and advertisement. I am looking forward to being an Ambassador because I would like to represent GiGi’s Playhouse. I want people to accept me for who I am. I would like to go into the community to help with fundraising and bring in more donations to the playhouse. One goal I have for the future is that I would like to write my own music, have a business, and work in creative advertising for GiGi’s Playhouse. I would also like to help make videos to promote GiGi’s Playhouse  in the community.

Thank you Farzin for your wonderful insight and letting us get to know you more! We are so honored to have you a part of so many programs. He brings such enthusiasm to each and every program you are involved in. Such a privilege to have someone like Farzin to want to advocate and want more people to get more involved in GiGi’s Playhouse just like him!
