1 Year Equals 365 Opportunities

Volunteers are the heart of the Playhouse. Thanks to our committed volunteers, who have logged over 7,800 volunteer hours since January 2016! It is because of our incredible army of over 200 volunteers that we have been able to see a child start Kindergarten reading at grade level. Thanks to our volunteers, we have witnessed dramatic weight loss in many of our participants who now have a fitness routine and have changed their eating habits due to GiGi University instruction. The work of our volunteers truly changes lives and today we celebrated them!

Our GiGi University students, present and past, applied and interviewed for various positions for our Volunteer Recognition Luncheon. Some of our GiGi U interns and students assisted with transforming our Playhouse into a cozy restaurant, we had six servers, three hosts, and one chef. Collectively, our GiGi U interns and students ran a successful pop up restaurant. We were also able to showcase the latest fashion from GiGi’s Studio Boutique in our first runway show! Let’s just say, we are now sold out of one of our shirts. We look forward in hosting another pop up restaurant at our Playhouse soon!
