At\u00a0<\/span>GiGi\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0Playhouse we<\/span>\u00a0change lives through consistent delivery of free educational, therapeutic-based and career development programs for individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community. We are so proud to serve families and help i<\/span>ndividuals find a \u201chome\u201d at\u00a0<\/span>GiGi\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0Playhouse.\u00a0 Today we are welcoming\u00a0<\/span>playhouse participant\u00a0<\/span>Kendall’s<\/span>\u00a0parents to share what\u00a0<\/span>GiGi\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0has meant to their family.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>Travelling from our Wisconsin home, we\u2019ve been part-time Floridians for many years now, where we have a villa<\/span>, would we be able to relocate here?\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>We thought relocating long term may be a hard\u00a0<\/span>transition<\/span>\u00a0due to the community, services and relations our daughter Kendall has up north.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0Then, we discovered\u00a0<\/span>GiGi\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0Playhouse!\u00a0<\/span>Kendall immediately fell in love with Fantastic Friends (and she has identified one \u201cspecial\u201d friend)\u00a0<\/span>and also<\/span>\u00a0the wonderful<\/span>\u00a0one on one<\/span>\u00a0tutoring programs. It\u2019s hard to believe\u00a0<\/span>GiGi\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0could exceed our high expectations, given we have had a history of quality programming up\u00a0<\/span>n<\/span>orth.\u00a0<\/span>GiGi\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0immediately felt like home; even after the pandemic\u00a0<\/span>hit<\/span>\u00a0they re-created wonderful programs via virtual delivery, including tutoring. So, for the first time, we spent a long winter in Fort Myers, secure in the knowledge our Kendall would be provided for. We plan on spending more and more time, at least in part due to the confidence we have in\u00a0<\/span>GiGi\u2019s<\/span>!<\/span>\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
