Celebrating the Best of All: Mycah & Michelle Depauw

We’re thrilled to recognize Mycah as our Participant Best of All! Mycah is a regular at GiGiFIT Infant each Wednesday, LMNOP sessions, and many of our special events. Known for the warmth and joy he brings, Mycah lights up every room and is a gift to everyone he meets.

In recent months, Mycah’s dedication to GiGiFIT has truly paid off, and we’re celebrating an incredible milestone in his journey: walking! Mycah started with a walker, and now he’s walking independently—a huge achievement that has inspired us all. At our recent GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge, Mycah melted hearts as he joined the “Dash for Down Syndrome,” confidently taking steps with his walker alongside his family. His mom, Jenna, shared that “witnessing Mycah WALK during the Dash for Down syndrome is a moment we’ll never forget!”

We’re equally excited to honor Michelle Depauw as our Volunteer of the Month! Michelle has been an invaluable part of the GiGi’s Playhouse team since June, helping with administrative tasks every Tuesday. Michelle’s positive energy and willingness to go above and beyond are a true asset to our Playhouse community.

Whether she’s tackling administrative duties or stepping in to assist with programs when we’re short on volunteers, Michelle’s dedication and reliability are unmatched. Her kindness shines through in everything she does, making our days smoother and brighter. Michelle, your support and commitment are a gift to our entire team, and we’re deeply grateful for all that you do!
