He\u2019s a real joy to have in my classroom.\u201d<br \/><br \/>While the adage, \u201cit takes a village to raise a child\u201d, is clich\u00e9, it appropriately articulates Gabriel\u2019s story. Gabriel works hard. He is determined and he generally has a good attitude. Gabriel\u2019s village, among the long list of teachers, therapists, family members and friends, includes GiGi\u2019s Playhouse. <br \/><br \/>GiGi\u2019s literacy curriculum is specialized to meet Gabriel\u2019s needs and their amazing volunteers all have supported Gabriel\u2019s abilities and supported his learning. The literacy program at GiGi\u2019s Playhouse in particular has reinforced and increased his sight words and vocabulary, as well as improve his comprehension and phonetic learning.
