As we reflect on 2025, one thing is clear: this year was powered by community and by the belief that individuals with Down syndrome can achieve extraordinary things when given opportunity and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because of donors’ generosity, volunteers’ dedication, and families’ trust, GiGi\u2019s Playhouse Detroit continued to expand access to free, life-changing programs for individuals with Down syndrome while strengthening a culture of acceptance, confidence, and achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2025, together we accomplished:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

780 families served<\/strong>
Since opening our doors in 2019, GiGi\u2019s Playhouse Detroit has supported hundreds of families across Metro Detroit, with 780 families served through consistent, no-cost programming at every stage of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5,333 volunteer hours donated<\/strong>
Volunteers showed up week after week to tutor, lead programs, support events, and build meaningful relationships with our participants. Their time and commitment are among our greatest resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

$479,636 raised to keep programs 100% free<\/strong>
Thanks to generous community investment, every educational, health, social connection, and career preparation program remained completely free, ensuring families could access support without financial barriers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These numbers represent more than metrics. They represent moments of confidence gained, skills strengthened, friendships formed, and futures expanded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
