Tanner’s “Best of All”

best of all (noun) \best of all\:
is continual, measurable, celebrated and it never ends. It is a daily challenge to do a little better than you did the day before and it’s always celebrated. Possible manifestations: standing just one second longer, reading just one more word, learning just one new number, taking just one more step, never a competition, never completed.
Our goal at GiGi’s Playhouse Detroit is to celebrate every display of a learner’s #BestOfAll. We do this through meeting participants where they are, building specific skills, and challenging them with their next level of development. Our purposeful programs begin prenatally and continue all the way into adulthood.
We love nothing more than celebrating our friends as they achieve their “best of all”! We recently received this message from Amanda, who leads our Destination Discovery program:
“Tanner consistently participates in all of our Destination Discovery sessions thus far! He did a great job following directions during a scavenger hunt around the Playhouse. Then he jumped on a trampoline for the first time in his life! His parents and all the volunteers were so excited for him!”

We are jumping for joy with 3-year-old Tanner’s DOUBLE “best of all”!
Following directions can be tricky for young kids, and staying on task while navigating the Playhouse is really impressive! Additionally, jumping on a trampoline is an incredible gross motor feat!
Tanner was on his A game during Destination Discovery and we are so proud!
