The class was run by Ms. Mary from the Cleveland Playhouse. She played guitar and we enjoyed her beautiful singing voice! She played and sang songs, while prompting the participants to do different things along with her. There was clapping, drumming, hitting sticks together, shaking instruments and some dancing as well! There were recommended instrument types, but she gave many alternatives so that everyone could easily participate.<\/p>\n<p>My children (an 8-year-old with Down syndrome and a neurotypical 5-year-old) really enjoyed making music with Ms. Mary and the others in the class. It was a nice break from school work and got them creative and moving their bodies. All GiGi\u2019s programs are designed to teach people with Down syndrome in the way that they learn best, but anyone can participate, learn and have fun!<\/p>\n<p>GiGi\u2019s At Home is currently offering 17+ weekly LIVE classes as well as 100+ on-demand classes.
