At GiGi\u2019s Playhouse Chicago, our mission is to change the way the world views Down syndrome and to send a global message of acceptance for all. We do this through free educational, therapeutic, and career development programs that empower individuals with Down syndrome to achieve their greatest potential.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To sustain and grow this mission, we rely on a dedicated team of Board and Committee Members who bring their talents, energy, and passion to our Playhouse. Right now, we are seeking new members to join us in four key areas: <\/span>Programs, Outreach, Fundraising, and Communications.<\/b><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Programs: Expanding Life-Changing Services<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our programs help participants of all ages thrive. We are seeking individuals with experience in program development, education, special needs support, or community services to help us expand and enhance our offerings. Your insight can ensure that our programs remain innovative, accessible, and impactful for every participant and family we serve.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Outreach: Building Stronger Connections<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

GiGi\u2019s Playhouse Chicago is a powerful resource for families, but to continue growing, we need to connect with more people. We are looking for individuals passionate about advocacy, networking, and community-building to strengthen relationships with schools, organizations, and local leaders. Your efforts will amplify our mission and extend our reach across Chicago and beyond.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fundraising: Fueling the Mission<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

All GiGi\u2019s Playhouse programs are offered completely free of charge. That\u2019s why fundraising is essential to our work. We are searching for energetic individuals with experience in fundraising campaigns, donor relations, sponsorships, or event planning. Your leadership and creativity can directly support free programs while ensuring long-term sustainability.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Communications: Sharing the Story<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The heart of GiGi\u2019s Playhouse is found in the stories of our participants and their families. We are seeking individuals with skills in marketing, PR, digital media, or branding to help us craft and share these stories. By shaping our message and raising awareness, you will help us celebrate achievements, spread positivity, and build acceptance for all.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
