Together we came up with the idea of creating tutoring kits for our participants that were enrolled in virtual math and literacy tutoring, an amazing opportunity to meet a need in our community. Berman wanted to make sure that our tutoring kids had everything they would usually use at our Playhouse for tutoring at home!<\/p>\n<p>With this partnership, there was also a sincere intent to support local businesses, especially when sourcing materials for the tutoring kits for each student. Through Subaru\u2019s 2018-2019 Share the Love event, Berman Subaru was able to donate a percentage of sales for every Subaru sold. With over 300 cars sold, Subaru made a donation of <strong>$60,949; the largest, single donation GiGi\u2019s Playhouse Chicago has ever received. <\/strong>Subaru of America also made special contributions to help make this feat possible. With this ongoing partnership and support, we continuously could not be more grateful for Berman\u2019s Subaru support and kindness.<\/p>\n<p>A sincere and special thanks to Berman Subaru of Chicago for the support on this project and donation for our participants.
