Wednesday and Fridays from 10:00am – 12:00pm (No program week of Aug. 5th)<\/strong><\/p>\n August Program Dates: Aug. 2nd, 14th, Aug. 21st & 23rd, Aug. 28th & 30th<\/p>\n Destination Discovery is an interactive and engaging program for participants of ALL AGES<\/strong> and their families. The program supports the development of motor skills, social skills and language through purposeful play and peer to peer interaction in a casual and fun setting. In addition, families have an opportunity to talk, share experiences and build relationships.<\/p>\n August 10th, 9:00am – 10:00am and 10:00am – 11:00am<\/p>\n The Crawlers and Walkers program focuses on the development of gross and fine motor skills through activities that are hands-on and fun! Social skills and language development will also be addressed, with focus on learning new words, following directions, and interacting with peers. Click the title of the program to RSVP!<\/p>\n August 24, 10:00am – 11:00am<\/p>\n LMNOP guides parents and young children through learning basic sign language and other forms of communication using music and language based activities. They participate in story time, sing songs, and play games. This program is led by two wonderful Speech and Language Pathologist who have volunteered at GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago for a long time. It also incorporates yoga and other therapeutic based programming to support self-confidence, coordination, and body awareness. Please RSVP by clicking the link in the title. Make sure you click on each date that you’d like to RSVP for!<\/p>\n Beginning September 7th – Every Saturday for 6 weeks, 11:30am – 1:00pm<\/p>\n Beginners and experts alike are invited to participate in this program, where they will be given an opportunity to test their abilities with multiple types of art media. RSVP is REQUIRED.<\/p>\n August 8th, 22nd Dance is from 5:00pm – 6:00pm and Cooking Club is from 6:00pm – 7:00pm<\/p>\n The teen Dance Program is for ages 13 and above. We will move to the music to stay fit and healthy!\u00a0 Participants will learn different styles of dance and choreographed dance routines improving their coordination and muscle memory. Please click the link in the title to RSVP.<\/p>\n August 25th, 3:00pm – 5:00pm<\/p>\n The EPIC adult program provides opportunities for socialization and community involvement, while creating a fun and memorable experience for its participants. Participants work on vocational, communication, and social skills to boost confidence and encourage independence through goal oriented objectives.
