Thank you, Summer Interns!

This past week, we wrapped up our summer internship! 14 interns learned work readiness skills and various ways to help the Playhouse during a 12 week internship at GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago!

Meet Ryan!

Ryan completed her first internship at GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago she helped to plan our intern party. Ryan’s hobbies are dancing and hanging out with her friend Anna.

Meet Brenda!

Brenda was a returning intern helping with communications and programming. Brenda’s hobbies are playing volleyball and dancing. Brenda would love to  work at GiGi’s Playhouse one day! Her favorite animal is a dog. 

Meet Maggie!

Maggie completed her first internship at GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago and helped to plan and create crafts for the Playhouse. Maggie’s hobbies are taking pictures and using the computer. Maggie’s dream job is a designer. 

Meet Karen!

Karen completed her first internship at GiGi’s and helped to thank donors. Her favorite animal is a dolphin. Karen loves to cook and help other people.

Meet Ronald!

Ronald was a returning intern helping with outreach and facilities. Ronald’s favorite food is chicken and his hobbies are watching basketball and the Sox.

Meet Luis!

Luis was a returning intern helping with facilities and outreach. Luis’s dream job is to work in a store. Luis loves to work hard and his favorite animal is a dog.

Meet Ian!

Ian completed his first internship at GiGi’s and helped with keeping the Playhouse clean and making sure the calendar was up to date. Ian likes to watch Chicago Fire, Disney Channel, and Thomas and Friends. Ian’s favorite food is pizza.

Meet Sam!

Sam was a returning intern who recently joined the programs committee! Sam’s favorite animal is a dog and his favorite part of GiGi’s is working hard to make sure he does the tasks correctly.

Meet Lucy!

Lucy was a returning intern helping with communications and advocacy! Lucy’s hobbies and interests are poems, traveling, darts, judo, freestyle Rap, photography, and theater. Lucy’s dream job is being a comedian, actress, or making music.

Meet Quincy!

Quincy was a returning intern helping with communications and advocacy! Quincy’s hobbies include dancing, planning, and being active. Her favorite animal is a dog and her favorite foods are tacos, hotdogs, and pasta.

Meet Emily!

Emily was a returning intern helping with administration and event planning! Emily’s hobbies and interests are Special Group Theater, gymnastics, and dancing! Emily’s favorite part about GiGi’s Playhouse is cooking, dance, Teen Tastic, EPIC, and speech.

Meet Ben!

Ben was a new intern who helped with facilities and event planning! Ben’s favorite animal is an owl and his favorite food is ham. Ben likes to watch action movies!

Meet Colleen!

Colleen was a returning intern helping with communications and outreach! Colleen’s interests are acting, music, art, making videos, and dance class. Colleen also participates in Special Olympics basketball, track, volleyball, snowboarding, and bowling.

Meet Diego!

Diego was a returning intern helping with facilities and programming! Diego’s dream job is to make pizza. Diego’s favorite TV show is The Night Parade!
