Join Us to Send Cameron Off Into Her Next Chapter!

Hello families & volunteers, I wanted to take the time to share transitions that will be taking place next month in the Playhouse. I would like you all to know I will be starting a different chapter this New Year; I have recently been offered & accepted a position in Pediatric Occupational Therapy. This was a difficult decision to make, but I am excited to see what the future brings with these new experiences! For those who have heard me talk about my experience here at GiGi’s, you know that being in programs is where my heart is.

It has been since I had my pediatric clinicals here back in 2021 that I’ve had that direct, hands-on experience with participants, and it’s time for me to go back into the field of Occupational Therapy. I have immense amounts of gratitude for being part of the footprint GiGi’s Playhouse leaves on those involved in what we do.

I am so honored from this experience of being Canton’s Program and Volunteer Coordinator. Please know how much I will miss being involved in your families’ experiences & the connections I have created with our volunteers here at GiGi’s. The friendships I have built, all of the conversations getting to know everyone, and the care this community brings to one another is something I will never take for granted. I will always cherish the memories I made with all of you all. These are only a few of the times I will fondly look back on!

My official last day will be Friday, January 9th. Sadly, this is before our group & 1:1 programs will be starting up for the Spring Session. If you are free this Saturday, December 13th please come to our Snow Much Fun Event from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm. I would love to get to chat and wish you a Happy Holiday before my send off! For anyone who can’t make it, please reach out to me or stop by the Playhouse before my last day. I would love to get to say bye… for now! Just because I will no longer be one of the staff at the Playhouse doesn’t mean I won’t be around as a volunteer at some point. This isn’t goodbye, more like a see you soon!
