COVID-19 Health Update

In July, the CDC updated current public health recommendations to add a recommendation for fully vaccinated individuals to wear a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission of COVID-19. Currently, Stark County has been designated an area of substantial transmission.

Based on this information, we have made the decision to reinstate mask requirements for volunteers and parents or caregivers entering the Playhouse regardless of vaccination status beginning Tuesday, September 7th. Prior to this writing, individuals with a valid, complete vaccination card were released from our mask policy.

In addition to masks, we will continue to enforce the following safety measures:

  • Social distancing to the greatest extent possible
  • Continued symptom monitoring
  • Frequent hand cleansing opportunities
  • Routine cleansing and sanitizing of all areas in the Playhouse

We will continue to follow CDC guidelines, as well as guidelines provided by our national office, and evolve policies as new recommendations and information become available.

We appreciate your continued vigilance in keeping our participants safe. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Playhouse at 330-493-9114.

More guidelines and resources regarding our re-opening can be found here.
