An exciting, high-energy event is on the horizon,&nbsp;and you&nbsp;won\u2019t&nbsp;want to miss it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The&nbsp;GiGi\u2019s Sports Challenge&nbsp;is coming on May 16th from 10:00 AM-&nbsp;12:00 PM at&nbsp;The&nbsp;R.O.C.K.&nbsp;&#8211; and&nbsp;it\u2019s&nbsp;shaping up to be an unforgettable morning of movement, teamwork, and fun for all ages!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What is&nbsp;the GiGi&#8217;s&nbsp;Sports Challenge?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The&nbsp;GiGi\u2019s Sports Challenge&nbsp;is more than just an&nbsp;event;&nbsp;it\u2019s&nbsp;a celebration of inclusion, achievement, and community. Designed for individuals of all ages and abilities,&nbsp;this event&nbsp;creates a welcoming environment where everyone can explore sports, build confidence, and experience the joy of active play.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whether&nbsp;you&#8217;re&nbsp;a seasoned athlete or trying something new for the first time, this event is all about&nbsp;participation, encouragement, and having fun together.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What to Expect<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year\u2019s challenge is packed with exciting opportunities to try a variety of sports and activities, thanks to some incredible community partners:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A special\u00a0flag football experience\u00a0brought by the Buffalo Bills\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Adaptive sports programming with\u00a0SABAH (Greater Adaptive Sports of WNY)\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Interactive stations hosted by\u00a0High Five,\u00a0Buffalo Hurricanes, and\u00a0XGEN\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants will have the chance to explore:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Flag Football\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lacrosse\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Field Hockey\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Basketball\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Volleyball\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fun games and skill-building activities\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fun for Our Littlest Participants<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We&nbsp;haven\u2019t&nbsp;forgotten about our youngest friends! There will be a dedicated space just for them, featuring:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An obstacle course\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ball pit fun\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Age-appropriate games\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Introductory sports sampling\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s&nbsp;the perfect way for little ones to get moving, build confidence, and enjoy the excitement in a safe and supportive setting.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why It Matters<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At GiGi\u2019s Playhouse, we believe in a world where individuals with Down syndrome are accepted and celebrated for who they are.
