We are proud to offer two impactful and purposeful opportunities\u2014GiGi\u2019s Achievers and GiGi Prep\u2014designed to empower our adults with Down syndrome to reach their highest potential through continued learning, independence, and personal growth.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gigisplayhouseorg.sharepoint.com\/sites\/Atlanta\/Shared%20Documents\/Programs\/Adult%20Programs\/Photos\/speech%20.jpg?csf=1&amp;web=1&amp;e=vdVCWD\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:333px;height:auto\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>GiGi\u2019s Achievers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Thursdays at the Playhouse<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>GiGi\u2019s Achievers<\/strong> program offers a full-day experience focused on developing real-world skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Participants take part in purposeful activities that promote:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Communication and self-awareness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health and wellness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community engagement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on learning experiences in naturally occurring environments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This program is perfect for adults looking to grow in independence while building lifelong skills and friendships along the way. Fall 2025 Achievers will run from September 11 &#8211; December 4.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gigisplayhouseorg.sharepoint.com\/sites\/Atlanta\/Shared%20Documents\/Programs\/Adult%20Programs\/Photos\/tie%20dye.jpg?csf=1&amp;web=1&amp;e=GCZIau\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:355px;height:auto\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>GiGi Prep<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Wednesdays at <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/4DszPSQ9uDNaJneV8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oak Grove United Methodist Church<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>GiGi Prep<\/strong> is a structured session with high expectations and a strong emphasis on preparing adults for the workplace and beyond. Key focus areas include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Communication skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Money management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customer service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Teamwork<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health and wellness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is an <strong>application-based program<\/strong> recommended for adults 18+ who are motivated and ready to challenge themselves with new skills and experiences such as college, employment, and independent living. The Fall 2025 session of GiGi Prep will run from September 10 &#8211; December 11.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gigisplayhouseorg.sharepoint.com\/sites\/Atlanta\/Shared%20Documents\/Programs\/Adult%20Programs\/Photos\/prep%20homework.jpg?csf=1&amp;web=1&amp;e=OAxjo7\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:493px;height:auto\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Enrollment Works<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both programs are enrollment-based and offered in sessions throughout the year.
