Team AJ is named after their 7-month-old son, Anthony. From the moment his mother received a prenatal diagnosis of Down syndrome, the experience was overshadowed by a doctor\u2019s somber tone and suggestion of termination. However, Anthony\u2019s family could never imagine a world without him. Instead, they embraced their journey with open hearts, hoping that through their work with GiGi\u2019s Playhouse, they can help shift societal perceptions of Down syndrome. Their dream is that one day, medical professionals will deliver such news with positivity, offering hope rather than fear. As his mother beautifully states, \u201cGod doesn\u2019t make mistakes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

As new members of the GiGi\u2019s Playhouse Atlanta community, Team AJ has already discovered the joy and connection that comes with participation. Their favorite program so far is LMNOP<\/strong>, where they\u2019ve had the opportunity to bond with other parents and children, building friendships that will last a lifetime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond attending programs, Team AJ believes in rallying their community to support GiGi\u2019s Playhouse.
