She earned a BFA in Industrial Design at The University of Illinois and moved to Chicago after graduating. She worked for Fortune 500 Companies before joining her family back in Europe after meeting her husband Paul Mulligan, also from Dublin. The Mulligans\u00a0and their two sons, Hugo and Kyle,\u00a0traveled and lived in several countries around Europe and\u00a0Ireland\u00a0before settling in Atlanta, Georgia in early 2006. Soon after, Sara Kate was born and the family portrait was complete. From the moment she was born, Adrienne was shocked and annoyed by the lack of information and support for families with children with Down syndrome\u00a0(T21).<\/p>\n<p>And\u00a0so\u00a0she started The\u00a0SKate\u00a0Foundation which led her to discover Gigi&#8217;s Playhouse and Nancy Gianni.\u202f\u00a0Within five minutes Nancy &amp; Adrienne formed a lifelong bond and friendship. Nine months later and with the help of some other motivated parents &amp; carers, GiGi&#8217;s Playhouse Atlanta opened its doors. The\u00a0SKate\u00a0Foundation will always\u00a0maintain\u00a0its\u00a0focus on formula21 &amp; Early\u00a0Intervention and\u00a0will always direct families to GiGi&#8217;s to start their journey.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gigisplayhouse.org\/atlanta\/files\/2023\/05\/Howie-Headshot.jpg\" alt=\"Howie-Headshot\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"500\" width=\"500\" title=\"Howie-Headshot\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\n\t<h3>Howie Rosenberg, Executive Director<\/h3>\n<p>Howie Rosenberg has served as Executive Director of GiGi&#8217;s Playhouse of Atlanta since 2017. Howie has a passion for working with children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.\u202f As Executive Director his responsibilities include strategic development of innovative programs, fundraising, outreach, community building and facilitating relationships to allow GiGi&#8217;s Playhouse to be a key factor in the community at large.<\/p>\n<p>Howie is a seasoned professional in the non-profit community as he previously served 20 years at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta in leadership, management and program development.\u202f Howie is a graduate from the University of Georgia and lives in Johns Creek, GA with his wife Kim and dog Kody. Their oldest son, Aaron, graduated from UGA as a fourth generation Bulldog with a degree in economics and finance and their youngest son Jonah is studying Astrophysics at the University of Chicago.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gigisplayhouse.org\/atlanta\/files\/2024\/12\/Amelia-Rehg-headshot.jpg\" alt=\"Amelia\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"500\" width=\"500\" title=\"Amelia-Rehg-headshot\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\n\t<h3>Amelia Rehg, Program Coordinator<\/h3>\n<p>Amelia was born in Boston but has grown up and lived in Atlanta for over 20 years. She is extremely close with her sister Katherine who has Down syndrome. Together they have attended GiGi&#8217;s Playhouse programs since the playhouse&#8217;s Atlanta location opened in 2011. Amelia has volunteered at GiGi&#8217;s Atlanta since 2015 and now works full time as the Program Coordinator. Amelia studied Applied Mathematics at Georgia State University and worked previously in accounting before joining the GiGi&#8217;s team.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gigisplayhouse.org\/atlanta\/files\/2023\/05\/ATL-Jen-Headshot.jpg\" alt=\"ATL-Jen-Headshot\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"500\" width=\"500\" title=\"ATL-Jen-Headshot\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\n\t<h3>Jennifer Rackley, Operations Manager<\/h3>\n<p>Jennifer came to GiGi&#8217;s in 2021 with 13\u00a0years&#8217; experience\u00a0running youth sports and\u00a0special events\u00a0for the City of Chamblee Parks &amp; Recreation Department. She\u202fholds\u202fa Certificate in Nutrition and Healthy Living from Cornell and has been using that knowledge to lead the GiGi&#8217;s Kitchen element of our adult\u00a0GiGi\u00a0Prep Program.\u202f\u00a0While this mother of three does not have a child with Down syndrome, she\u202fhas a degree in Elementary Education from Converse College and\u202fseveral years&#8217; experience in preschools and daycares. Jen\u00a0possesses\u202fa\u202flifelong love and dedication to caring for and educating children. She and her husband, Chuck, and their three daughters, Mia, Mik, and Charley live in Johns Creek.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gigisplayhouse.org\/atlanta\/files\/2023\/05\/Kim-Knight.jpg\" alt=\"Kim-Knight\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"500\" width=\"500\" title=\"Kim-Knight\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\n\t<h3>Kim Knight, Education Director<\/h3>\n<p>A former educator of 17 years, Kim taught Spanish for several years before she moved into administration, where she became very involved in the Special Education department. Little did she know then that she would have a child with Down Syndrome. Now she is so grateful for the training she received! She served a 5-year term on the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta Board and she continues to work closely with DSAA to welcome new moms with Jack&#8217;s Basket and planning Mom&#8217;s Nights Out.\u202f What she loves to do is read IEP&#8217;s.\u202f Many think it&#8217;s crazy, but she loves a good (and a bad!)
