This program focuses on the development of large and small muscle groups. Children will participate in fun and engaging activities that require movement and interaction with their development. Our Leaps & Bounds program is recommended for ages 3-5 year olds.<\/div>\n

GiGi’s Adventures Program – Learn to Ride a Bike (2-6 years)\"\"<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Join our GiGi\u2019s Adventures: Strider Learn to Ride a Bike group for children with Down syndrome ages 2-6. This group will use our new Strider sport balance bikes. A completed\/signed Physician Approval Form is required at the first class.\u00a0This class will meet from 10:30-11:30am for 5 consecutive Mondays, from July 22 \u2013 August 19<\/em>.<\/strong>\u00a0Class is led by a certified Strider Bike Instructor. Parents must provide a helmet for their own child.<\/div>\n

Relax, breathe and practice some basic poses with our awesome GiGi\u2019s Child Yoga Certified Leader, Maureen! We provide the mat. Wear comfortable clothes.<\/p>\n

Teen Tastic (13-18 years)<\/span><\/h4>\n

Teen Tastic\u00a0 is an interactive and engaging program for teens ages 13 through 18. This program is for teenagers with Down syndrome and those without Down syndrome. We support the development of social skills, fine motor skills, self-help skills, and language through peer to peer interaction in a casual and fun setting. This program may also support gross motor skills through active games.<\/p>\n

CPR\/First Aid Training – Parents\/Volunteers\/Caregivers\"\"<\/strong><\/p>\n

GiGi\u2019s Playhouse Annapolis has arranged, in partnership with Bello Machre, an opportunity for parents to receive CPR and First Aid Training from a National Safety Council Trainer. The cost is $14.00 per person for a workbook, quick guide book as well as a video. Please bring cash or check. Each attendee will also receive certification cards for both CPR\/First Aid. Thank you Bello Machre! Space is limited to 12.<\/p>\n
