Summer GiGi’s Carnival with fun backyard style games for all kids! Meet at the Playhouse for Ring toss, fishing hole, duck pond, basketball toss, Plinko, can topple, pin the nose on the clown, penny drop, and ring the bull! Fun, fun, fun with friends from IMPACT CAMP Asbury United Methodist Church in Arnold.<\/span><\/p>\n

This program focuses on the development of large and small muscle groups. Children will participate in fun and engaging activities that require movement and interaction with their development. Our Leaps & Bounds program is recommended for ages 3-5 year olds.<\/div>\n

Kids Club supports the development of social skills and language through peer to peer interaction in a casual and fun setting. This program will also support gross motor skills through active games, fine motor, and self-help skills through meal\/ snack preparation activities. We will have our friend Morgan, Post Doctoral Fellow from Kennedy Krieger, returning to continue the conversation on behavioral issues for our 8-12 year old group. Bring your questions!<\/div>\n

Teen Tastic\u00a0 is an interactive and engaging program for teens ages 13 through 18. This program is for teenagers with Down syndrome and those without Down syndrome. We support the development of social skills, fine motor skills, self-help skills, and language through peer to peer interaction in a casual and fun setting. This program may also support gross motor skills through active games.<\/p>\n

Fantastic Friends (Adults 18+)<\/span><\/h4>\n

\"\"Special Event for Fantastic Friends 21+ years<\/span> (only 2 spots remain)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Learn about the brewing process, what equipment is needed to make beer, what are the ingredients for the \u201crecipe\u201d, what unique additives can go in to make special flavors, learn about yeast and its purpose to the brewing process. There will be sampling small amounts of very different tasting beers beers to see how various grains and hops affect the character of the beer. There will be a snack of brats and sauerkraut to accompany the beer.<\/p>\n

Adult participants participate in the planning of activities so that group activities are based on personal interests. During Fantastic Friends, the group may participate in active games, dancing or exploring their local community by participating in outings and events.\u00a0 We recommend Fantastic Friends for ages 18 years and older.<\/div>\n
