Volunteer Spotlight: Kathy Roche
This month, we are thrilled to shine our Volunteer Spotlight on Kathy Roche, a dedicated member of the GiGi’s Playhouse Annapolis family!
Kathy has generously contributed over 188 volunteer hours to our Adult Career Programs over the past two years. Her commitment, warmth, and patience have made her an invaluable part of the team, and a true friend to our participants.
We first met Kathy and her husband, Pat, through our Navy Game Concession Fundraisers, where their enthusiasm and teamwork quickly stood out. Since then, Kathy has become a steady presence in our Playhouse, helping adults with Down syndrome build confidence and skills for greater independence. She currently teaches Money Math and GiGiFIT, blending structure, encouragement, and fun in every session.
Kathy’s kindness and consistency embody what it means to live our mission of acceptance for all. Her impact reaches far beyond the classroom, she empowers our participants to believe in themselves and reach new goals every day.
Thank you, Kathy, for your incredible dedication and for all the ways you make GiGi’s Playhouse Annapolis stronger, brighter, and more joyful!
