Volunteer Spotlight

This month, we are thrilled to shine the spotlight on one of our most dedicated and versatile volunteers, Joan Blum!

Joan has been an integral part of GiGi’s Playhouse Annapolis since 2019, giving over 500 hours of her time, energy, and heart to our community. Her commitment runs deep, from Math Tutoring and Leaps & Bounds to Adult Career Programs, Fantastic Friends, Outreach events, administrative support, and more, Joan’s impact is felt in nearly every corner of the Playhouse.

What truly makes Joan special is her willingness to step in wherever she’s needed most. Whether she’s helping participants master new skills, building confidence in social settings, or supporting behind-the-scenes tasks that keep our programs running smoothly, Joan approaches everything she does with kindness, patience, and joy.
