GiGi’s Playhouse Annapolis Seeks Volunteer Grant Writer to Support Life-Changing Programs

Annapolis, MD – GiGi’s Playhouse Annapolis, a nonprofit organization offering free educational and therapeutic programs to individuals with Down syndrome, is currently seeking a volunteer grant writer to support its ongoing mission.

The volunteer will work directly with the Executive Director to research funding opportunities, draft proposals, and assist in securing essential financial support for the Playhouse’s innovative and impactful programming. With a focus on flexibility, this opportunity can be done remotely, making it ideal for professionals, retirees, or aspiring writers interested in giving back to their community in a meaningful way.

“This is a unique opportunity to contribute your skills toward something that truly makes a difference,” said Pauline Markward, Executive Director of GiGi’s Playhouse Annapolis. “Our volunteer grant writer will play a vital role in sustaining and growing programs that serve hundreds of families every year.”

Whether the applicant has a background in grant writing or simply a passion for nonprofit work and a talent for writing, GiGi’s Playhouse is eager to welcome new supporters to the team.

Those interested in volunteering or learning more about the role are encouraged to contact Pauline at pmarkward@gigisplayhouse.org.
