GiGi’s Playhouse 2025 Educators Symposium a Resounding Success
Celebrating connection, learning, and inclusion in education
GiGi’s Playhouse proudly hosted its 2025 Educators Symposium, bringing together a passionate community of educators, therapists, and advocates dedicated to supporting individuals with Down syndrome and promoting inclusive learning environments.
Held earlier this spring, the symposium featured a variety of dynamic workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities focused on evidence-based practices, differentiated instruction, and the power of strengths-based education. The energy in the room was inspiring, and the event left attendees feeling empowered and connected to a greater mission.
We extend our deepest thanks to all who attended, shared their expertise, and contributed to meaningful conversations throughout the event. Your commitment to inclusive education helps drive real change—not just in classrooms, but in communities across the country.
A very special thank-you goes to Donaileen Dondero, GiGi’s Playhouse Annapolis board member, who took the planning lead on this fantastic event. Her dedication, vision, and tireless coordination helped bring the symposium to life and ensure its incredible success. We are so grateful for her leadership and passion.
Together, we are moving the needle toward a more inclusive world—one educator, one student, and one powerful conversation at a time.
Stay tuned for more professional development opportunities and resources from GiGi’s Playhouse. We can’t wait to see what we’ll build next—together.
