Volunteer Spotlight: Annamarie Tucker 

At GiGi’s Playhouse Annapolis, we are fortunate to have many incredible volunteers who dedicate their time and talents to our mission. This month, we’re excited to spotlight Annamarie Tucker, a true example of dedication and compassion. 

We first met Annamarie when she joined us as an aide to a one-on-one adult participant. In her search for ways to better fulfill her charge’s needs, she not only supported their volunteering efforts at GiGi’s Playhouse but also found time to contribute as a volunteer herself. 

Currently, Annamarie is leading the charge in a creative pop-up art project where our participants are crafting the 2024 Holiday Ornaments. Her leadership and enthusiasm have infused the project with energy, making it a fun and meaningful experience for everyone involved. 

When she’s not volunteering, Annamarie enjoys catering to the whims of her beloved cat, Roscoe. Her warmth, dedication, and understanding of the importance of volunteers have made her a breath of fresh air at the Playhouse. 

Annamarie understands that volunteers are the backbone of GiGi’s Playhouse, and her contributions continue to inspire us all. We are so grateful for her commitment and look forward to seeing the beautiful ornaments that she and our participants create together.
