Where will YOU bring Flat GiGi?

Have you ever heard of Flat Stanley? Well, meet Flat GiGi, your newest summer companion! Since we can’t all be together sharing our summer stories at the Playhouse, Flat GiGi is the perfect way to document all that you’ve been doing, whether it be a trip, hanging with family, or one of the Playhouse’s many fun virtual programs!

To create your very own GiGi, follow these simple steps:

  1. Print and cut out the Flat GiGi template. Personalize and make her your own by coloring her in! Glue her to a piece of cardboard if you like.
  2. Take your Flat GiGi with you wherever you go and bring a camera (or phone) as well. Snap some pictures whenever you’re up to something super fun. These photos can be of you and your GiGi, GiGi with family, or even GiGi posed alone- get creative!
  3. Send some of your favorite shots to jco@gigisplayhouse.org to post on social media so others can see what you and your friend have been up to this summer.
  4. You can also print extra copies of your pictures and start a personal journal or scrapbook to document Summer 2020!

Alternate idea: Spend some time with your Flat GiGi then send her off to a family member or friend who doesn’t live with you. This could be a friend from the Playhouse or relative, whomever you choose! Make sure they document their time with GiGi and have them send her back to you, along with the pictures. This is another great way to share you adventures and learn about the adventures of others!

We cannot wait to see what this summer will hold for you and your new friend Flat GiGi!
