Thank You for Supporting our 2024 Donut Run 5K
The GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge is both an in-person and virtual event that takes place across the country! From March 21st – June 25th each year, GiGi’s Playhouse locations host their own GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenges to spread acceptance and awareness for all!
And so we want to say THANK YOU to all the families, volunteers, sponsors and supporters who made our 2024 GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge, the Tinley Park Donut Run 5K, a huge success and a great event on June 1st in Centennial Park. We had a “Glazin’ a Trail” 5K run, a “1 Mile Munchkin Walk” and a “Kids Donut Dash”!
Despite the rain, we had almost 700 participants registered to show out for their loved ones with Down syndrome. With your support, we raised over $88,000 surpassing our goal of $85,000! This valuable fundraising goes towards FREE therapeutic and educational programming for individuals with Down syndrome, and it’s all thanks to our community!
