Virtual GiGi’s Kitchen (Ages 13+) 6pm-7:30pm *Sub Sandwiches & ice cream sandwiches

Learn how to follow a recipe, cook a meal, and follow food safety procedures.

A Parent/guardian must be present in the Playhouse during the entire program. If we have enough volunteers we would be happy to pair our participants up with volunteers one-on-one. If we do not have enough volunteers; 1 parent/guardian must work with their loved one. 

Materials needed: 

sub sandwich “ingredients”

-your choice of  bread roll or lettuce to use as bread

-condiments your choice of what you would like (mayo, mustard, brown spicy mustard, ranch dressing, sub sandwich dressing: Italian dressing, oregano )

-veggies of your choice (lettuce, tomato, onion,bell peppers, pickles, banana peppers, etc)

-meat of your choice  (turkey/ham/roast beef/ salami/ pepperoni/tuna/meatballs, etc)

-cheese of your choice (provolone/mozzarella/swiss/ cheddar/american/pepper jack/ etc.)

ice cream sandwich “ingredients”

-your favorite flavor  of ice cream

-for your “bread” you can use cookies or brownies (cut into a square or rectangular shape) or even waffles that you toast).

-scoop ice cream in between your “bread” and press together

-roll open edges in sprinkles if you like
