Best of All: Arianna and Jessica

A snapshot of an awesome Best of All moment from the Amina Grace Speech & Language Program!

Best of All is our GiGi’s Playhouse philosophy that everyday should be a challenge to do a little better than you did the day before, and it’s always celebrated.

At GiGi’s Playhouse Tinley Park, we have a collaboration with the Masters in Communication Disorders Program at Governors State University and the Amina Grace Memorial Fund to make speech therapy services FREE to our families! One of the Governors State speech pathology students providing speech therapy this summer, Jessica, really thought outside the box to make speech fun.

Jessica learned that Arianna loves the “pink drink” from Starbucks, so she planned a speech session to make pink drinks here at the Playhouse – complete with their own Starbucks aprons and cups. Arianna had to read and verbalize the recipe and directions, and practice language skills with Jessica, making this a great way to incorporate Arianna’s interests in her speech therapy goals!
