Quad Cities Bringing our #BestofAll in 2015
As we welcome 2015, we wanted to give you a preview of the focus of GiGi’s Playhouses Nationwide. You may have noticed on our Facebook page, website and in current communications the use of many hashtags, among them #BestofAll. Our goal in 2015 is to help each of our participants achieve their Best of All. We will accomplish this through Purposeful Programming that is both age and skill appropriate. Our participants continue to raise the bar and we must provide programming to continue to encourage that growth. While our participants have a wide range of abilities, we must provide activities that are challenging to our highest achievers, but with available modifications and accommodations for those who may need more assistance. Finally, we will be working with all programs to establish metrics to track the growth and outcomes for each of our programs. This will not happen overnight, but we are committed to giving our #BestofAll to help our program hosts and leaders provide Purposeful Programming to all of our participants.
With added structure comes added commitment from our families to help us maintain an environment conducive to learning and development. Children thrive on structure and expectations, so please encourage your child to participate in all activities and let them know what is expected of them. With a goal-oriented approach, we hope to help everyone achieve their #BestofAll! As always, due to the generosity of our donors and volunteers, all programs at GiGi’s Playhouse will remain free to our families, but it is not free to us. Help us show our community that their belief and support in our loved ones with Down syndrome is appreciated by participating in our programming and sharing our gratitude through stories and successes achieved at the Playhouse. We thank you all and look forward to a year full of education, inspiration and achievement!

I am inspired by the set up of your program, is there a gigi’s playhouse here in Las Vegas, Nevada?

There is not currently a Playhouse in Las Vegas, but I believe there has been an inquiry from your area. Each location is started as a grass roots effort by a group of passionate individuals in the community who has defined a need for the unique services provided by GiGi’s Playhouse.
