Friends, Fun, and CrossFit

This summer, we have piloted a new addition to our Friends, Fun, and Fitness program. In addition to Martial Arts and Yoga, we now offer CrossFit too!  After our Row for a Reason event in April, the CrossFit community at On The End (OTE) has been extremely interested in collaborating with to form a new program in which OTE members can work one-on-one with GiGi’s adult participants.

This program promotes physical fitness and facilitates social interaction and positive peer relationships through purposeful physical activities for adolescents and adults with Down syndrome.  We are piloting this program over the summer and plan to offer more dates with full registration in the fall!
