“i have a voice” gala 2016

With the New Year in full swing we are exciting to look ahead at the upcoming annual “i have a voice” Gala on Saturday March 12, 2016, at Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. The gala is our largest and most significant fundraiser of the year. The gala is important to growing our voice in the world and raising awareness for Down syndrome. The gala is a red carpet night out, filled with dancing, food, drinks, and live entertainment, numerous raffles and auctions. More importantly the gala helps us celebrate the many achievements of our individuals and families, by helping to change the way people view Down syndrome.

For the first time ever, the adult interns of GiGi’s Playhouse/Hugs N Mugs will play a lead role in planning and hosting the Chicago region gala, including invitation design, centerpiece design, hosting the event, and more!
