Traveling Galleries Des Moines ‘i have a voice’

'i have a voice'

The GiGi’s Playhouse Des Moines ‘i have a voice’ traveling galleries tells a story of GiGi’s Playhouse and the people it serves.  It shares family perspectives,  stories of community acceptance, and the individual tales of a life meant to be.  The traveling galleries are part of a movement, a campaign designed to increase cultural awareness and build advocacy for people with Down syndrome.  We hope to influence one person at a time through portraits, hands, and accompanying quotes in this gallery until we have over one million new voices that will speak up for, defend and befriend our kids.

Our Thanks to Mercy Children’s Center for sponsoring the Traveling Galleries and the ‘one million voices’ project!
