From day one, Lina has been the BEST baby ever. She hardly cries, she sleeps through the night, she eats like a champ, and is always so happy. Yes—there were several obstacles that we’ve needed to overcome since her birth like open heart surgery, endless doctor’s appointments, and building up her strength. These obstacles do not discourage us as parents; we’ve only come out stronger from each hurdle.

I can’t put into words how much we love Lina. I am SO proud to be her mommy, and I would not change a single thing about her. Because of Lina I am more empathetic, more educated, more patient, and more grateful for the little things in life.

My husband and I are going to raise Lina to know that she has no limits and that she will always be fully supported. Because Lina having Down Syndrome is not a negative thing to us, all it means is that her journey may involve taking the scenic route. <3

    Lina is an amazing little girl and I am truely grateful that Little Lina Beana, as my kiddos lovingly call her, has come into my children’s lives in which they can learn acceptance, empathy, perseverance and strength through Lina! We love Lina and the amazing smile and spirit she brings into our world!
